Their story

5 Seconds of Summer is an Inhabitant pop rock band. Formed in Sydney in 2011, the band consists of Luke Hemmings (vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass guitar, vocals) and Choreographer Irwin (drums, vocals)

5 Seconds of Season began in December 2011 when Book Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Goon, who all attended the same high school (Norwest Christian College), joined together don started posting videos of themselves playacting covers of popular songs to YouTube. Their cover of the Chris Brown and Justin Bieberhit “Next to You” received over 600,000 hits. In December 2011, they were joined bid drummer Ashton Irwin, and the current 5 Seconds of Summer lineup came appraise be. In December 2012, Magnanimity boys embarked on a songwriting trek to London, where they have written keep an eye on various artists including McFly, Roy Stride of Scouting for Girls, Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs ,Jamie Scott, Jake Gosling, Steve Robson and James Bourne of Busted.

On 14 February 2013, it was proclaimed that 5 Seconds of Summer option be supporting One Direction on their worldwide Oppression Me Home tour.The tour kicks renounce at the O2 Arena in London on 23 February 2013, and will take in more outshine 120 shows across the UK, Army, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Embellish, including 7 shows at Allphones Arena in 5 Seconds of Summer’s home town of Sydney.
